Dr. Douglas Morris, a legal historian and practicing criminal defense attorney, will speak on how the Nazis disabled the legal system and constitutional framework as an early part of establishing totalitarian rule. This program is the opening event of the traveling exhibit “Lawyers Without Rights: Jewish Lawyers in Germany under the Third Reich.”
