Margo Berger

Margo Berger shares the story of her grandmother Helen Berger.  Helen was born in Lithuania and miraculously survived the Dachau concentration camp.  Liberated from Dachau by American soldiers in 1945, Helen then went to a Displaced Persons camp run by the American Red Cross in Feldafing, Germany where she awaited her departure from Europe.

Margo hopes by telling this account we will honor the memory of all those who perished and those who survived by speaking up when we see injustice.  Margo is married and has 3 children.  She is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.
