Making Connections: How Family Stories Help Us Teach about the Holocaust

A child of Holocaust survivors and the Executive Director of the American Gathering of Jewish Holocaust Survivors and their Descendants, Elaine Culbertson, will discuss her realization that her parents could no longer tell their stories.  As an educator, she emphasizes the importance of telling these family stories to illustrate what happened to average people during the Holocaust.
