HERC will be presenting a program on December 2 at the Waupaca Area Public Library during USHMM’s traveling exhibition visit “Americans and the Holocaust.”
What did Wisconsinites know and what did they do? This panel will provide a glimpse into what Wisconsin was like in the prewar, wartime, and postwar eras. What information were they receiving? What opinions did they have about Nazism and the war?
Join panelists Samantha Abramson and Sam Goldberg from Holocaust Education Resource Center (HERC) as well as Kurt Griesemer from the Wisconsin Historical Society as they discuss what Wisconsin was like during World War II and the Holocaust.
This program is FREE and open to the public with no registration required.
