Confronting the Oldest Hatred:

A Day of Professional Learning for Teaching the Holocaust in a Catholic Setting

Educators, please join the Nathan and Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center (HERC) for a FREE in-person two-day workshop on teaching the Holocaust at the Milwaukee Jewish Federation. Act 30, requiring that Holocaust Education be implemented into Wisconsin social studies curriculum, will come into effect in Fall 2022.

This workshop will give practical examples and resources to help bring this subject into your classroom. Among the topics discussed will be the history of antisemitism, Nazi propaganda, and a special workshop on spiritual and cultural resistance with guest speaker, Rabbi Reuven Brand.
