Holocaust education in America and across the globe is experiencing some of the most impactful transformations in decades, due to new scholarship, expanded access to digital and physical archives and collections, and current events that shape our understanding of and approaches to teaching about the Holocaust. In a time of rising antisemitism in our schools, on college campuses, and in the public sphere, Holocaust education is one of the most effective tools available to understand how such hatred festers, and the roles we all play in combatting it.
Join us at CBINT for Shabbat services, Kiddish lunch and town hall with Samantha Abramson, as we learn about these trends and approaches to teaching about the Holocaust. If you would like Samantha to address a particular issue or topic, please submit your question to: programs@cbintmilwaukee.org by August 25 for this town hall!
