Lessons from Kristallnacht: Confronting Hate

On Sunday, November 8, a commemoration of the pogrom of November 9 and 10, 1938, was held so that the world may never forget the magnitude of violence the Third Reich unleashed against the Jews. This commemoration featured Wisconsin local Ms. Hilde Adler, who experienced Kristallnacht first-hand and escaped Nazi Germany with her family six months later. We invited individuals from all religious backgrounds to join us in gathering as a community to recognize the devastating consequences of all forms of hatred and intolerance.
