Raphael Lemkin was the architect of the UN’s 1948 Genocide Convention – a word and international law that the world lacked and sorely needed during the Holocaust. As a Holocaust survivor himself, Lemkin was deeply driven to see this new law codified and he dedicated his entire professional life to this mission.
In honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we will come together to investigate Lemkin’s actions and advocacy.
