Mickey Mouse & the Holocaust

with Danny M. Cohen

Join us on a journey through Holocaust memory led by Northwestern professor and author Danny M. Cohen. This interactive experience will focus on a dozen intriguing and puzzling historical photographs that force us to reconsider how we perceive the past. Using only the evidence within each frame, we will attempt to determine what the photographs, and the people in them, tell us about the Holocaust. Together, we will discover rich paradigms and important lessons for our contemporary world, as well as a surprising connection to pop culture today.
